It’s with great excitement that I share some special news with you: my fibre artwork is featured in the latest issue of Creative Fibre Magazine, and to my delight, one of my pieces (Pīwakawaka) was chosen as the cover image for the issue!
As a fibre artist, being part of this amazing community means so much to me. Fibre art is my way of expressing my love for nature and texture, and seeing my work showcased in such a prominent way feels truly rewarding. The team at Creative Fibre have been wonderful to work with, and I’m so thankful for their support in featuring my art.
This feature is not just a personal milestone, but a celebration of all those who have followed my journey, or simply appreciated the fibre arts. Fibre is not a traditional art medium, and it can be challenging to be accepted as a serious artist at times. It’s moments like this that remind me why I fell in love with art and creativity in the first place.
