I’ve been a little quiet on the fibre painting front lately. That’s because I have an exciting development in the wings – I’m creating a brand new, online needle-felted fibre painting workshop and kit. Stay tuned for that one.
In the meantime, I’ve been able to finish a fibre painting that’s been slowly brewing these past few months and I love how it’s turned out. See what you think.

‘Glory’ is a reflection of joy – the kind of joy that makes life feel complete. Through rich textures and vibrant colours, I aimed to capture the warmth and happiness that sunflowers radiate, celebrating the simple pleasure they bring to those who see them.
This artwork uses locally sourced New Zealand wool fibre, plus imported cotton fibre to support sustainable, non-toxic art practices. Wool's biodegradable and renewable properties embody sustainability and reflects my commitment to responsible artistry.
