
Art of the Ordinary photo series 11. Before the movie industry transitioned to digital, films were shot on physical reels. During screenings, there was often an intermission – a brief break that allowed the audience to stretch their legs or grab more popcorn. Behind the scenes, this was also when a new reel of film would be loaded.
