A sneak peek into my next fibre painting

Here’s a sneak peek into my next (as yet unnamed) fibre painting (a big painting, not a kit!). I realised that I have been so focused on getting my fibre painting kits launched, plus a family bereavement, that I hadn’t touched this artwork in two months! It was good for my soul to get back into needle-felting – simply for the joy of it again.

Our company recently brought in Kristy von Minden (Mind Bright) to run a ‘Rewiring for Resilience’ session with the team (highly recommended). She talked about ensuring there were moments of 'green spikes’ (a.k.a. mental down time) every 90 minutes during the day. This helps the brain and body cope with living in our incredibly fast-paced world. For me, those green spikes happen when I am felting. That’s my happy, rest-filled place, along with playing the piano.

Where do you get your green spikes? Are you having enough of them during your day. Thanks Kristy for putting challenge out there!
