Can you believe this photo is for real? Don’t believe me? Just try doing a Google Images search for “Danxia landform”. See? Told you! I think I have just found something else to add to my “must sees” in life.
This particular example of the Danxia landform is located in Zhangye, Province of Gansu in China, and is similar to other examples in the southeast and southwest of China…some have even been given World Heritage Site status!
The colour is the result of an accumulation of millions of years of red sandstone and other rocks. Wow!
