Emily-Rose Fidecaro drawing

There is something super-special about receiving a handmade gift. I love to make and give them, but – I have to say – I rarely receive them (hint, hint), and virtually all the handmade gifts that I have ever received are proudly on display in my office. I know how long it takes to produce something handmade, and so I highly value the time, thought and skill within the gift.

Just recently I received a lovely drawing (above) from a young friend of mine, Emily-Rose Fidecaro…budding artist…creativity fan. It is fascinating to observe E-R’s youthful enthusiasm and I will be interested to see if she carries that enthusiasm through her next few years of artistic discovery.
