Robinson Richard PANPA winning lifestyle photo 2011

Kiwi underwater photographer, Richard Robinson, recently won the top award for lifstyle photography at the Australia-New Zealand PANPA Media Awards.

Richad’s winning shot is stunning! The colour palette is naturally inspired and the composition simply beautiful. It’s the type of shot that can transport you to another world and soothe your soul during the journey.

Richard writes the following about his photo:

Diver Pete Mesley is silhouetted underneath the ice of Lake Alta at an altitude 1837 meters in the Remarkables Mountain Range near Queenstown in the South Island of New Zealand during the Cromwell Dive Club clubs 23rd annual trip Ice Diving at the lake held in conjunction with Scuba Steve of Wanaka.

You can see more of Richard’s fabulous work on his website.
