Had to share! Here’s a bit of 99 year old inspiration…

MAN WHO QUIT COLLEGE IN 1932 GRADUATES AT 99
16 June 2011, Associated Press

A US man who dropped out of college just short of graduation in 1932 has earned his degree at age 99.
KTVZ-TV in Bend, Oregon, reports that Leo Plass, of Redmond, received his diploma a few days ago from Eastern Oregon University in La Grande.

Plass says he was less than one semester away from graduating from what was then called Eastern Oregon Normal School and starting a career as a teacher.

But Plass says it was the Depression, and a teaching salary of US$80 (NZ$100) a month wouldn’t cut it. When a friend offered him a spot in a logging outfit at US$150 a month, Plass says he couldn’t pass it up.

OK, not the most well-written of Associated Press articles (leaves you wanting to know more, doesn’t it?!). The main thing is “never, never, never give up” on your dreams.
