Now, here’s some interesting artwork! Not only is the work a visual lesson in symmetry, minimalism and uniqueness, but it is also proof that an artist can defy convention and make their mark without the use of a paintbrush, palette knife or sponge!
Judith Braun – a New York-based artist with a somewhat “controversial” portfolio of work – has pushed the boundaries further with a series of “Wall Fingerings”, where all the marks are made by dipping her fingers in either graphite or pastel. That’s impressive!
If I were to try this technique I would be concentrating on two things…1) don’t make a mistake; and 2) use a good hand moisturiser!
