All art is subject to personal interpretation, and for me this reminds me of walking around the duck ponds at Barry Curtis Park with Prince and Sasha. Both Samoyeds would bark and bounce on their paws in delight at seeing the ducks. We do miss our fur babies, and I couldn’t help but smile as I recalled those, presumably simple and forgotten walks. This piece also speaks to me as we look ahead to our rebuilding project, and the phrase “getting your ducks in a row” couldn’t be more apt. While this piece may not represent “you” – it will speak to others, invoking an emotion, or discussion, and that can’t be a bad thing. In all seriousness, I would be delighted if you would consider selling this piece to me [after you have exhibited it of course]. Let me know your price.
Hi there Lynn…you are absolutely welcome to buy the painting…I feel honoured that you would like to buy it! I will get back to you, via email, after I have worked out the price.
