A few years ago we visited the gorgeous city of San Francisco. I remember remarking – at the time – that it was just like gazing on a “toy town”, with amazing architecture and a quaintness that seeped along every street, shopping precinct and public space.
What impressed me the most was the colour of the houses. Street upon street of eclectic colour palettes…a randomness of storybook proportions. If you isolated one house you might call it “garish”, but all the colours combined together were a veritable feast.
How delighted I was to happen upon a website picture-list of the most colourful cities in the world. For a visual treat you can view the site here. Yummy!
